During my fourteen years as a Deputy Public Defender, I witnessed the complex pathways that bring people into the criminal justice system. I further studied these dynamics as I earned my Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. I now endeavor to integrate my experiences in jurisprudence with developmental, interpersonal, and family theories as I pursue a PhD in Human Development. I am committed to helping individuals receive a well-prepared and successful defense in a compassionate manner.
