Philosophy

I have worked within the criminal justice system for thirty years, having worked 17 of those with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, retiring as a District Attorney Senior Criminal Investigator. I have attending hundreds of hours in advanced training on investigations and techniques, and hold an Advanced Certificate from POST, the California Commission on Peace Officers Standing and Training.<br /> I believe one is innocent until proven guilty. I also believe that identifying the facts in a case showing one to be innocent of a crime is paramount to what I do as a licensed Private Investigator. I am the owner of Kroot Private Investigations, LLC, and we are a prominent women’s agency dedicated to conduct factual interviews, reports, identifying witnesses, and have extensive experience in trial preparation. I am also trained in the Component Method of Investigations, I believe my job is to identify the leads, conduct a fair investigation, and present the facts that may lead to innocence, which is why I am honored to be a part of the Innocence Legal Team.
